At the conclusion of the application phase, the Terra Next evaluation commission – made up of promoters, advisory boards and corporate partners – will select up to 10 innovative startups and SMEs that will access the acceleration program, benefiting from an initial investment and a 3 months based in Naples, at the San Giovanni a Teduccio Campus of the Federico II University, during which they will have the opportunity to grow through mentorship, training, networking and in-depth in-depth moments dedicated to consolidating the value proposition and model business, technical validation and prototyping of solutions, go-to-market support and fundraising. In addition, the best teams will have access to further investments of approximately 1 million euros, already allocated by the promoters.
Terra Next is the result of the CDP Venture Capital initiative and is is part of the CDP National Accelerator Network, a network present throughout the country. Terra Next sees the participation of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center as co-creator and promoter and the support of Cariplo Factory, which operationally manages the program. The accelerator has an initial budget of around 3.8 million euros allocated by the Accelerator Fund of CDP Venture Capital and around 1.3 million allocated by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and partners.
The accelerator also envisages the involvement of institutional and scientific partners, such as the Fondazione con il Sud, the Federico II University of Naples, the Campania Digital Innovation Hub, the Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING, the Materias deep tech innovation center, the S.R.M study center - Studies and Research for Southern Italy. Terra Next also involves the corporate partners Pastificio Garofalo (core partner), Getra Group, Nestlé Group, Novamont, Aristea, Nolanplastica, Selepack and Tecno, who will provide their contribution in terms of know-how, assets and networks for the development of startups .
Precisely thanks to the collaboration of these partners, the selected startups will be able to create synergies with industrial subjects in the bioeconomy sector, already an excellence of Made in Italy.
